Panama TRIP

What I Packed & How It Worked Out

When I packed for Panama, I knew I’d need to keep it light just a carry on and a tote. The weather was hot (90's F) and humid, so I focused on airy, comfortable clothes with a touch of versatility.

On the flight, I kept it simple: gym shorts with pockets, a t-shirt, sneakers, and my rain jacket. It was the perfect choice, comfortable for travel, and the rain jacket came in handy more than once with Panama’s quick showers.

In Panama City, I wore my romper and a cardigan for a balance of comfort and coverage while we explored the canal. It was surreal standing there, watching ships pass.

In Las Tablas, I mostly rotated between my dress, shorts, jeans, and tank tops. My cover up and sandals became the essentials for the beach and pool. Jewelry wise, I am weak so I pack simple and bold jewelry, also a watch, a medium bag for days, and my clutch bag for dinners.

Looking back, my packing strategy really worked: light, practical, and easy to mix and match. I never felt weighed down, and everything I brought had a purpose. More importantly, it gave me freedom to fully enjoy the best part of the trip spending every day with my sister in Las Tablas. She’s so kind and beautiful, and our time together reminded me how strong our bond is, even though we grew up apart.

It turns out, the best “essentials” I carried with me weren’t just clothes it was family, laughter, and memories I’ll hold forever.
